Pablo Picasso: Picture "Sitting Harlequin" (1905), framed
In this work, typical of his so-called Pink Period, Picasso addresses the world of circus life and traveling jugglers. Back then living at the Bateau Lavoir on Montmartre, Picasso and his friends visited the Cirque Médrano several times a week.
