Detail from a 1665 silver liturgical disc from Paros, depicting the Virgin Mary with Christ. It bears an engraved dedicatory inscription. From this detail in the center of the disc we have created a unique silver-plated bronze image mounted on a wooden back, which can be hung on the wall or placed on a desk bookcase.

This disc is used to this day for the elevation and circumambulation of the Cross during the liturgy on the day of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and on the day of the Adoration of the Cross. The original is exhibited in the museum of Panagia Ekatontapyliani on the island of Paros.
