Nicknamed "The Little Lion of the Louvre", the noble animal is depicted walking in the most aristocratic Renaissance style, the work of the sculptor Jean Bologne, also the author of the Abduction of the Sabines in Florence and the Equestrian Statue of Henri IV in Paris. It is an exceptional piece, cast on request by the only Master Founders authorized for this edition, in order to retain all its value and appeal to collectors. The bronze lion - Cast entirely in Bronze Art on its marble base, traditional patina, Workshop stamp. Dimensions 20 cm long, 16 cm high, 8 cm deep, weight 2.51 kg.
