Impressive Queen Bee Earrings!
Art jewelry inspired by museum treasures.
These charming stud earrings embellished with enamel and Swarovski® crystal feature Cornflowers and Buttercups (circa 1900) by Peter Carl Fabergé (1846–1920). Featuring a bee perched on a golden buttercup, the exquisite confection is crafted from gold, enamel, pink-cut diamonds and rubies. The vase and its "water" are carved from rock crystal. A visionary craftsman and jeweller, Fabergé counts the Russian imperial family among his company's elite clientele. Both Empress Alexandra Feodorovna and her sister, Queen Alexandra of Great Britain, were fascinated by Fabergé's floral creations. Produced in collaboration with the Royal Collection.
