This bag is inspired by one of the most famous works of the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), "Under the wave off Kanagawa" ("the great wave") (Kanagawa oki namiura) 1830-32. Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), painter, draftsman, engraver and author is the most famous artist in the world. He renewed the art of printmaking with his famous works such as "Under the Wave off Kanagawa" which is the first in a serie of Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji published between 1831 and 1833.
