Amedeo Modigliani (1884, Italie - 1920, France)
The painting "Jeanne Hébuterne" created by the leading Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani in 1919, depicts the muse and symbiosis - until the end of his life - of Jeanne Hébuterne. This white porcelain mug was created for the 140th anniversary of the birth of Amedeo Modigliani!
Born in Italy, the young painter studied at the School of Fine Arts in Livorno. Arriving in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century, Amedeo Modigliani absorbed the practices of the young École de Paris and tried sculpture. His independent style combines tradition and modernity and is inspired by the work of artists such as Paul Cézanne or Toulouse Lautrec.
